Chloe is a 10 year old extreme Border Collie - Deb is still waiting for her to settle down. She was turned into BCR at 1.5 years old and was Deb's first foster. Upon Seeing her 24/7 activity level and extreme drive and intensity. Deb decided to be a foster failure and adopt her. It became quite apparent this insanely driven girl needed a job, so she got into flyball with her. In 2002, Chloe was part of the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge flyball team. She was also a member of the Purina Incredible Super Dog Athletic Team that did entertainment show. Her flyball career was cut short in 2006 with a torn ACL. Chloe has completed in disc dog, and is trained in herding and agility, and has both her CGC and TDI certifications. To earn dog food, treats and toys, she works as a professional goose dog. She has been Deb's demo dog to show the public most Border Collies need a job that makes them think and work and that mental is as important as physical stimulation. |
